A batch of key city infrastructure construction projects and city parks were ended and started in Chenzhou city. Chenzhou municipal leaders Xiang Lili- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and QuHai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City attended these relative ceremonies.
The opening ceremony of Nanling Botanical Garden was held on September 7, 2012. It is one of the important forest study bases, botanical popular science education centers, rare plants ex-situ conservation centers and economical plants breeding bases. The investment capitals of the first phase are about 140 million yuan, which are mainly used for the infrastructure construction of Nanling botanical park and Ziwei lake landscape. Now there are more than 1305 kinds of different plants in the park, and 6 special plant gardens like azalea, osmanthus, bamboo, crabapple, cherry and rare plants.
Xihe Wetland Park in Chenzhou export processing zone was opened to public on September 6, 2012. As the key point of “two-oriented society” demonstration belt and Xiangjiang river heavy metal pollution treatment project, this park will be greatly helpful for improving Xihe river ecological environment. The first phase of this park is about 2.8kms long, started from last August with the investment of about 100 million yuan. And now it becomes the comprehensive, ecological and opening-up park with wetland and mountainous & water landscape where the visitors can do sports, have leisure, and enjoy entertainments.
Martyr memorial park of Tangjiashan section is located in the east gate of the park which is now still under construction.
The first phase of Linziling forest ecological park was launched on February 14, 2012 and finished on August 31, 2012. Now it is opened to the public.It was covered with about 95% greening land. The second phase was started at the end of September which covers about 400mu and would be finished within the end of this year.
Qilidong garden is a comprehensive park with the theme of health care.Following the Chinese traditional interactive art,now it is under the construction and expected to be finished at the end of this year.
The moon shape ecological park locates in the Wuhan-Guangzhou high speed railway district. According to the time schedule, it would be further divided into two phases in order to be completed in two years with the planned investment of 80 million yuan. Till now, the preliminary work of the project has been fulfilled. Once the project ends, it will be a“green lung”for western Chenzhou city.
Liuxianling Park was donated by Chenzhou Construction Group and Shunyuan Real Estate Co, Ltd., with 10 million yuan. Now some infrastructures, scenic spots, squares, plants, green grass and mountainous parks have been sketched out.
The second phase of Behu Park upgrading project covers about 90000 square meters with 45 million yuan investment. Projects such as reconstruction of the old architectures, thenewly built square, upgrading of travelpaths and greening lands, eco-water treatment were carried out for this park. Once being finished, Beihu Park will be expanded to 500 mu with more 10000 square meters greening lands, and 6000 square meters water areas.
Yanquanhe environment treatment project was started on September 7, 2012. There would be 9 new gardens built there to upgrade its ecological conditions. Meanwhile, the water problems for township enterprise areas and Sanlitian village will be settled together.
Three main roads like Baishang, Tongxin and Zeyuan road were fulfilled on September 7, 2012. Baishang road is about 736.236 meters long and 24 meters wide with about 38.26 million yuan investment; east section of Tongxin road is 2289 meters long and 30 meter wide with 84.63 million yuan investment; Zeyuan road is 1240 meters long and 18 meters wide with 21.85 million yuan investment. Thanks to the completion of the three roads, the traffic condition near the areas has been greatlyeased.
